Reviews
Lake is nice and pretty views.
I visited Anderson Cove Campground on two occasions last winter in our four-season camper van. It was fantastic! I can't say enough about how accommodating Bob (the camp manager) made us feel. He was awesome! In spite of it being a record snow year, he was able to keep a few sites plowed out. I look forward to returning again this winter. Question: Is Anderson Cove Campground going to be open again this winter? I sure hope so. Please advise.
1 word, GORGEOUS!!!!
It's lovely.
I loved the lake.
A very clean place.
Very nice place but we received very bad service from the night service. We came from another country to vacation here and we don't speak the language well and the man just attacked us for no reason.
It was clean and quiet. Had the perfect spot.
Stayed here for 5 days in a 29 foot bumper pull while I worked in town nearby. Plenty of back in sites that can accommodate RVs . Camp host is ornery and unwelcoming. Website and sign says Gates close at 10. Camp host started closing the gates at 8:00 meaning I had to leave my truck parked clear outside the campground each night after work. On Thursday night he promptly closed the gates at 8. By 9:00 three trailers had shown up expecting to be able to stay and couldn't get in despite the hours on the website showing 10. The second trailer was a mother and her kids with their trailer in tow. Unfortunately, only alternative was to stay in a nearby church parking lot for the night.
The park has great views and a fairly accessible beach, but the customer service is horrendous. We were parked incorrectly, and an old man who worked the night shift exploded at us. Instead of working with us he kicked one of the vehicles in our group out of the park. He had ZERO patience, and he is not reasonable. It's so seldomly that one comes across such a jerk. I won't be back anytime soon.
